Almond, Gabriel A. (Gabriel Abraham), 1911-2002
Almond earned his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1938 and taught at Yale and Princeton before joining Stanford's Dept. of Political Science in 1963. He was president of the American Political Science Association from 1965-1966 and a frequent consultant to the Department of State and other governmental bodies.
