Nevada Tax Commission
The Bullion Tax Agent, whose records date back to 1905, was the predecessor in the function of the Nevada Tax Commission, which was created by the Legislature in 1913. Its powers and duties consisted of exercising general supervision and control over the entire revenue system of the State.
Under the new body created by the Legislature of 1917, the members of the Commission became members of the State Board of Equalization.
