Robertson, James W., government clerk
Clerk working in the Third Auditor's Office; at outbreak of Civil War, he resigned his post and took up a position as First Auditor of the Confederate States of America Treasury Department; following the war he returned to Washington, D.C., and resumed life as a clerk in private practice.
