Greenough, H. V. (H. Vose)

H.V. (H. Vose) Greenough, Jr., (1912-1976) was the founder and owner of Technichord Records, a small recording company in Brookline, Massachusetts. Greenough graduated from Harvard University, served in the Navy, and in the early 1950s worked for the Haydn Society in Vienna, Austria, as chief recording engineer. After teaching acoustics at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City, Greenough returned to Cambridge, Massachusetts, to work as a consultant. He died in1976 at the age of 64.
