Weaver, James H. (James Harvey), 1903-1970
Jim Weaver was head football coach at Wake Forest College, 1933-36; and Athletic Director, 1937-54. He coached golf and football at Wake Forest College. He served as the first Commissioner of the Atlantic Coast Conference (Atlantic Coast Conference), 1954-70. He was also a Lt. Commander, U.S. Navy Reserve.
