Aluminum Home Products was a successor to a aluminum distributorship named ALSCO, established in Louisville by William E. Edwards, Jr., in 1946. Alhom was created in 1953, with the addition of a manufacturing plant. The company sold aluminum screens, windows, doors, awnings, porch enclosures and siding.
