Congregation B'nai Jeshurun (New York, N.Y.)
Congregation B'nai Jeshurun, the second oldest synagogue in New York City, was founded in 1825. Rabbi Israel Goldstein (1896-1986) was the synagogue's rabbi, 1918-1960. Affiliated with the Conservative Movement in Judaism, the synagogue is presently located on New York's Upper West Side.
