Lee, Thomas Ludwell, 1730-1778
Thomas Ludwell Lee, a delegate from Stafford County to the Virginia Constitutional Convention of 1776, was a member of "a committee appointed to prepare a Declaration of Rights, and such plan of government as will be most likely to maintain peace and order in this colony, and secure substantial and equal liberty to the people."
