Duvall, J.C., 1902-1982.
J. C. Duvall was born in Kentucky in1902. He attended Drake University and came to Fort Worth in 1920 as a teacher. He studied law and passed the bar in 1926. The following year he became a state representative for Tarrant County and served five consecutive two-year terms. During World War II he was in military intelligence and afterwards was a prosecutor in the Nazi War Crimes Trials. In 1957, Duvall received an appointment to the Tarrant County Criminal Court and continued to serve as a judge until 1979. He died on February 13, 1982.
