Committee of Responsibility to Save War-Burned and War-Injured Vietnamese Children (U.S.)
Formed in December 1966 in New York, N.Y. by a group of medical personnel, scientists, clergy, and citizens concerned about civilian casualties caused by the Vietnamese Conflict; evacuated almost 100 children to the U.S. for physical rehabilitation; COR chapters raised funds, served as liaison with hospitals and foster parents, and operated children's shelters in the United States and Saigon; disbanded in 1973 or 1974.
