Hales, Robert D., 1932-
Hales was called to serve as an Assistant to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on 4 April 1975 and later served as a member of the First Quorum of Seventy. He served as Presiding Bishop of the Church from April 1985 until called to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on 2 April 1994.
