Claypoole, George, Jr. 1730-1793.
George Claypoole, Jr. was active as a cabinetmaker in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the second half of the eighteenth century. He was the son of George Claypoole, Sr. (1706-1793), also a cabinetmaker. See Hornor, William. Blue Book Philadelphia Furniture, p. 27. for more biographical information on both father and son.
