Hart, Freddie
Country music performer and songwriter. Born December 21, 1926. Real name: Frederick Segrest. Career active 1950s-1980s. Wrote several hit songs including Carl Smith's 1954 hit "Loose Talk," and Porter Wagoner's 1966 hit "Skid Row Joe." His biggest success came with his recording of "Easy Loving," which was voted the Country Music Association (CMA) song of the year for 1971 and 1972.
