Billings graduated from Amherst College, 1900. B.D., Yale University, 1905. Pastor, First Congregational Church, Upton, 1908-1915; Union Evangelical Church, Three Rivers, 1915-1924; Central Congregational Church, Orange, 1925-1936; First Congregational Church, West Newbury, 1936-1944; First Congregational Church, Georgetown, 1944-1952 all in Massachusetts. He married Rena Nutting in 1926.
