Armerding, Carl, 1889-1987
Missionary, educator and administrator; born June 16, 1883; worked as short term missionary in the British West Indies and Honduras; graduated from University of New Mexico (1926); worked among group of Christians in New Mexico; joined faculty of Dallas Theological Seminary, 1936; served as Director of Central American Mission, 1943-1963; taught at Moody Bible Institute for ten years and Wheaton College (1956-1962, 1969-1970); served on North American Council of China Inland Mission; preached at many conferences in North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe and wrote several books; married Eva May Taylor.
