Harrison, A. M. (Alexander Medina), 1829-1881
Alexander Medina Harrison (1829-1881) was born in New Haven, Conn., and worked as an engineer for the U.S. Coast Survey. In 1875, while he was stationed in Plymouth, Mass., Harrison was instructed to gather information about the origins of the inscriptions on Dighton Rock, located near Taunton, Mass.
