Zelinsky, Paul O.
Paul O. Zelinksy was born in Evanston, Illinois in 1953. He received his B.A. from Yale University and a M.F.A. from the Tyler School of Art. He is an artist, author, and illustrator of books for children and has won numerous awards for his work including the Caldecott Medal for Rapunzel in 1998. His work is noted for its richness and experimental nature and its wide variety. He has illustrated everything from Beverly Cleary's Dear Mr. Henshaw to the pop-up book, The Wheels on the Bus.Biographical Source: Something About the Author, vol. 102, p. 217-224.
