Resident of Cambridge, Mass.; son of William and Ellen Wright, owners of a bakery; George Wright operated a grain business until 1902 when he entered real estate, a profession in which he remained until his death; active member of numerous clubs, associations, and societies, with interests directed to municipal and civic causes; chiefly involved with Harvard Square Business Men's Association (HSBMA) and Library Hall Association (LHA); amateur historian and naturalist; unmarried.
