International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. Lodge 2303 (Burlington, Iowa)
International Resistance Company opened in 1958 to make resistors for radios and televisions. The IAM organized the plant in 1966 after several failed attempts by the International Union of Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers (IUE). IRC was taken over by TRW, there was a three month strike in 1974, and the plant closed in March 1983.
