Langrish, Thomas, fl. 1699-1700.
In December 1699 the British Admiralty dispatched the Advice frigate under Captain Robert Wynn to Boston to collect the captured pirate William Kidd ("Captain Kidd") and return him, his papers, and a treasure chest to London for trial. The Advice made a quick trip through rough winter seas, arrived in Boston February 2, 1700, and returned to England with the prisoner in early April.
