Candela, Christine.
Christine Candela was president of the Women's Equity Action League in the mid 1970s. The WEAL Fund was incorporated in 1972 as a tax-deductible arm of WEAL to help secure legal rights for women and to carry on education and research projects on sex discrimination. In 1981 it merged with WEAL.
