Korn, Richard R.

Richard R. Korn, born in New York on Feb. 21, 1923, received his Ph. D. in Social Psychology from New York University in 1967. He taught at various schools including the School of Criminology at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Korn published many articles and books on crime and criminal justice, with a particular interest in penal reform. He founded and directed the Berkeley Institute for Training in Psychodrama, and with his wife Eva and former student Ike Sofaer, trained students in psychodramatic methods. He also founded the Pacific Institute for Criminal Justice. Dr. Korn died in July, 2002 in Sweden.
