Scott, Myron Lewis.
Dearborn was the grandfather of Roger Dearborn Lapham, mayor of San Francisco from 1944-1937. He sailed to San Francisco from New York as a young man in 1851 as the purser aboard a steamer. He later returned to Brooklyn, where he was engaged in the shipping business for many years.
