Kirk, Ruth
Ruth Kirk was born May 7, 1925, in Los Angeles, California. She has followed careers as writer, photographer, and natural historian. Early in her life she became interested in the outdoors, and respect for nature. Her main foci in writing are to present both the commonalities and the differences among human beings, and to show that mankind is still a child of the natural system, even with his rapid technological developments.
