Penny, Dianne
The project of compiling interiews with folk artists from a six county area surrounding Athens, Ga., was called Art from the Heart and was carried out through the Office of Cultural Affairs, Clarke County Board of Commissioners, with a grant from the Georgia Council for the Arts and Humanities and the National Endowment for the Arts. Work began in July, 1982, and continued through June,1983.
