McCreary, Jennie Virgo,

Jennie Virgo McCreary, daughter of Frederick and Harriet Virgo, was born April 2, 1908 in Texas Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan. After having attended Mattawan Elementary School, Prairie Ronde Grade School, and Schoolcraft High School, she attended Western State Teachers College, and graduated in 1930. On June 22, 1930, she married A. J. McCreary, son of Willis and Bird McCreary. Jennie and A. J.'s only child, Arthur was born on March 16, 1942, in Battle Creek, Michigan.
