Missionary; born in 1909; attended Wheaton College, 1927-1931; married Lyndon Hess, 1932; served in Rhodesia with her husband as a teacher of missionary children at the Sakeji school under the auspices of the Plymouth Brethren, 1932-1975; began evangelistic work among the Lunda tribe, 1975.
