United States. Turtle Mountain Indian Commission
Commission established by the U.S. Congress. Commission members included Porter J. McCumber, John W. Wilson, and W. Woodville Flemming. The 1892 treaty was made at the Old Crossing of Red Lake River where the Indians ceded much of their land.
