Daniel, Douglass K.
Writer and editor Douglass K. Daniel worked for the Associated Press in Washington, D.C., and taught reporting at Kansas State University and Ohio University. Additionally, he authored several books, including Harry Reasoner: A Life in the News (2007) and Lou Grant: The Making of TV's Top Newspaper Drama (1996), which discusses the television program's development and censorship issues. A spin-off of the Mary Tyler Moore Show, the drama Lou Grant aired from 1977 through 1982.
