Crofton, Gabrielle Josephine, 1835-1894.
Gabrielle Josephine Shubrick was born on July 20, 1835, the daughter of Julia Sophia du Pont and Irvine Shubrick. She was a granddaughter of Victor du Pont and great-granddaughter of Pierre Samuel du Pont de Nemours. She married Robert Erskine Anderson Crofton, an army officer, on January 7, 1864, and died on December 3, 1894.
