South Dakota. Governor (1961-1965 : Archie M. Gubbrud)
Born in Norway Township of Lincoln County, South Dakota in 1910 and died in 1987. Gubbrud worked for increased educational funding, building projects, constitutional revisions, the creation of the Department of Labor, and anti-discrimination in South Dakota.
