The collection contains manuscripts, artifacts, photographs, and a videocassette generated by the Day family of Putnam County, Ind. The material includes legal documents (including land titles and deeds), letters exchanged between Ida Wright and Frank Day, notes concerning home remedies and the usage of traps and bait, and clippings. Printed material includes pamphlets concerning Pioneer Metal Boats (Middlebury, Ind.), John Deer & Company, the Edison-Bell Phonograph Corporation, and the Duplex Mill & Manufacturing Company. Family photographs include images of an auction at the family farm in 1993, and portraits. Artifacts include children's clothes, medicine bottles, and a fox fur pelt.
