Baumol, William J.
Economist; professor of economics at Princeton University and New York University. Baumol's work has been primarily in the field of welfare economics and its applications and in industrial organization and public policy. His work has also addressed "superfairness," or distributive justice; the economics of the performing arts, academic institutions, and environmental policy; and business behavior.
