John, Valdor W., 1931-
John (b.1931) served twenty-six years in the Army, including service in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
He was taken prisoner of war by the North Koreans in Taejon (South Korea) and survived the Korean Death March. He also served in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. After his service, he worked as a hospital administrator for the Department of Veterans Affairs. John married, raised four children, and settled in his hometown of Oneida (Wisconsin).
