World Congress on Evangelism 1966 Berlin, Germany
International meeting to promote and plan for world evangelism. The Congress of conservative Protestant leaders from around the world was co-sponsored by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) and CHRISTIANITY TODAY magazine. Its agenda dealt with ways of increasing cooperation between Christians in evangelistic work and studying that work in different parts of the world. It was a model for the 1974 International Congress on World Evangelization and the 1983 and 1986 International Conferences of Itinerant Evangelists.
