Whaling vessel, out of Nantucket, Mass., mastered by John Brown, on voyage from 8 May 1839-23 June 1843 to the Western Islands, Cape Verde, Coast of Chile, Galapagos, Off Shore, and On the Line whaling grounds; owner-agent: Chris Wyer; built at Mattapoisett, Mass., 1831; sold to New London, Conn., 1843; captured and burned, 1865.
