Hughes, Robert W. (Robert William), 1821-1901
Robert William Hughes served as U. S. District Attorney for the Western District of Virginia in 1871-1873. In 1873 was nominated to U. S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia and served there until his retirement in 1888.
