Sallie Martin discusses her experiences as a social sciences teacher and teacher-principal at Dover Elementary School. She recalls administrative and employment practices, classroom methods and school activities. Her recollections of individual experiences with children are interwoven with descriptions of physical school facilities and teaching aids.
