Wright, Harry, 1835-1895
Harry Wright was a player-manager for the Boston Red Stockings of the National Association (1871-1875) and the Boston Red Stockings of the National League (1876-1877). Wright managed the Boston Red Stockings of the National League (1878-1881), Providence Grays (1882-1883), and Philadelphia Phillies (1884-1893). He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1953. Sam Jackson played for the Boston Red Stockings (1871) and Brooklyn Atlantics (1872), both teams were part of the National Association.
