Physicians for Social Responsibility (U.S.)
Founded in 1961 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, by a group of physicians to provide the medical community and the general public the scientific data on which political decisions must in part be based; to alert physicians to the dangerous implications of the arms race; and to promote disarmament and peace.
