Clinical social worker, marriage/child/family therapist, writer; born Berea Edith St. John on October 4, 1909; worked at Baptist Christian Center under the direction of the American Baptist Home Missions Society (1931-1932); served in various social work/psychological/psychiatrical positions (1934-1970) and continued private practice as psychotherapist and church counselor, 1970- ; married Virgil Leon Feiner.
