Palmer, Woodrow Lenax, 1913-1981
Resident of Fryeburg, Me.; b. in Berlin, N.H.; B.S. in forestry at University of Maine, 1935; forester; after graduation from University of Maine, enlisted in U.S. Army Enlisted Reserve Corps in which he served from 1936-1941; in Aug. 1941 went on active duty serving with 240th Coast Artillery Regiment, Fort Williams, Me., 8th Coast Artillery Regiment, Fort Levett, Me., 281st Quartermaster Battalion, Camp Ellis, Ill., and 216th Quartermaster Battalion, Fort Devens, Mass., between 1942 and 1944.
