Harris, Jayne
Texas journalist. In 1938, joined Lubbock Avalanche-Journal while a student at Texas Tech University. Returned after World War II to work for 20 years as managing editor of the morning edition. Executive editor over both editions until 1972. Replaced Charles Guy as editor.
