Owen, John, Sir, 1600-1666
A seaman from Boston, served in the 38th U.S. Infantry during the War of 1812 and was rewarded with land in Brown County, Illinois which he sold to John Bogardus, a lawyer from New York and Bogardus eventually sold to William Robinson, also from New York.
