Hindley, William J., 1872-1943
William J. Hindley came to Spokane in 1903 to accept a pastorate at Pilgrim Congregational Church. He served that parish for eight years and was elected city commissioner and mayor of Spokane. Elected on a moral crusade platform, he served from 1911 to 1914.
