Lavery, William Edward
The position of Executive Vice-President was established in 1968 as a result of the reorganization of the University's top-level administration. Lavery was the last of three individuals to hold the position before its elimination in 1974. William Lavery became the President of Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1974, serving until the end of 1987. His records as for this period are not yet available.
