Taylor, Elizabeth J.
Eli Taylor of Cincinnati, Ohio published The Family Magazine, a small monthly, was also for a time publisher of the anti-Catholic and anti-slavery Cincinnati Journal. Judge James Hall who had done active service in the war of 1812 was a lawyer, judge, treasurer of the State of Illinois, and an editor of several newspapers and magazines.
