Cannon, John M., 1856-1917.

John M. Cannon was born 24 September 1865 in St. George, Washington County, Utah. He was the son of Angus M. Cannon and Sarah M. Mousley. After grammar school, John worked as a carpenter and farmer while studying for about two years at the University of Utah. He went on to study at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, where he graduated as a Bachelor of Law in 1890. He married Zina Bennion on 18 July, 1893, and had five children.
