Hendricks, Joel E., 1818-1893
Self taught Iowa mathematician who earned international recognition as the editor and publisher of the mathematics journal, The analyst. The journal was published bimonthly from 1874 until 1883 when it was continued by the Princeton University Press publication, Annals of mathematics.
