Connor, Selden, 1839-
Studied law in Woodstock, Vermont, 1860; enlisted in lst. Vermont regiment, April 1860; mustered out August 1861 and commissioned lieutenant-colonel of 7th. Maine regiment; became colonel of 19th. Maine regiment December 1863 and commanded 1st. brigade, 2nd. division, 2nd. Army corps until March 1864; promoted brigadier-general of volunteers, June 1864; mustered out of service, April 1866; wounded May 6, 1864 in battle of the Wilderness.
